4 Day Skills Camp @ Warwick Uni

City of Coventry Swimming Club is proud to present their 4 Day Skills Camp. Seven one week camps on 10-13th April, 18th-21st April, 31st July-3rd August, 7-10th, 14-17th, 21-24th August  & 29th Aug-1st Sept 2017.
The focus of the camp will be to fine tune technical skills in each of the 4 strokes. The swimmers will focus on a different stroke each day, covering all elements of the stroke including starts, turns, transitions and finishes. Under the guidance of one of City of Coventry Swimming Clubs Senior Coaches, swimmers will also be introduced to Land Training and be given tips on basic nutrition.

Change and meet parents
The coach will be one from our Coaching Staff and will have experience at running these types of camps.

We can have a maximum of 24 swimmers for the training day so book early to avoid disappointment. 

NB – Discount is only available when booking for the full 4 days.
Swimmers should bring:
  • 2 costumes and towels
  • Kit Bag
  • Land training kit (shorts, t-shirt, trainers which can be appliciable to outdoors if weather permits)
  • Packed lunch
  • Pen and paper

Our first opurtunity to see how we performed as a team we had no good swims only great ones. With 24 1st 12 2nd 7 3rd places and 2 DQs we won with 243 points 24 points ahead of Rugby and 41 points ahead of Solihull . Thanks to Mel Mcwhirter for team managing no mean task on your own. Well done!
