Start Para Swimming

City of Coventry swimming club has now launched a start para swimming scheme with the aim of enabling more swimmers with a disability accsess to swimming lessons. 

The start para swimming scheme aims to identify eligible swimmers in stages 3,4 & 5 of our learn to swim scheme. Once identified swimmers will be invited to join the start para swimming sessions as an additional session on top of their current swimming lessons. The session aims to help develop para swimmers and give them more focused training with the end goal of helping para swimmers into our already established squad system.

If you are looking to start swimming or already swim please contact Sam.fairchild@coventry-swimming.org.uk who can direct you along the pathway into para swimming. Swimmers who have already progressed through the learn the swim scheme and are looking for a club to help them further develop their ability with the hopes of competing are also welcome and we will help you find a place within our squad system.
